Jerry Carter began designing and building releases decades before he started full time production of what people have grown to know Carter for. As an avid archery himself, Jerry understood that not all archers have the same needs and feel. He believed there needed to be a choice. A choice for what felt natural in your hand. It was this understanding and his insatiable drive to make a better release aid that conceived Carter Enterprises. No matter which discipline or archery you participate in, Jerry had designed a product for you that just feels good. Jerry knows that the release is the most critical piece of your archery equipment and he started designing them himself because he just wasn’t happy with what was available.
